Governance and Leadership

The following changes are planned for the next 5 years.

  1. Human Resource – Vacancies, if any will be immediately filled in through proper selection committee. To encourage the staff to go for various professional development programmes. Innovative ideas that can enhance teacher interest in collaborative learning will be implemented. To encourage research, projects to be taken up by faculty.
  2. Betterment of facilities to staff- Extend facilities to staff like good spacious physical environment, personal computers, and wifi in the staff room.
  3. Financial Management and Resource Mobilization – To make the internal audit system better for financial management. More transparent practices to be put in place and strengthen the functioning of the purchase committee for optimum utilization of resources.
  4. To make the website more dynamic for disseminating information to all stakeholders.
  5. To have an MIS in place to improvise functioning of the college.
  6. To encourage the lecturers to apply as Ph.D. mentors.
  7. Strengthen performance appraisal mechanism. Include SWOT analysis for quality up gradation.
  8. Provide facilities like picnics, team building approaches, recognition by management on special occasions like teacher’s day, etc.
  9. To maintain Management’s non-interfering yet advisory and positive support.
  10. To maintain college’s minority status by ensuring a continuous enrolment of Muslim minority students.
