We propose to strengthen Research in the college in the following manner.

Compulsory library hour for students.
Faculty will have access to recent research in education via published online research sites. Faculty too will have a compulsory library hour. This will enable the faculty members to stay ahead of new research and innovation in teaching and learning.
Encourage faculty to publish quality papers in educational journals.
Motivate the B.Ed. students to take up action research after identifying areas which require further study to improve.
Provide a platform to research scholars to showcase as well as publish their research work.
Invite experts to update teacher educators on emerging trends and significant issues pertaining to research.
Set up psychological testing lab equipped with SPSS software and a gallery of freely available standard psychological testing tools of various academic traits.
Encourage faculty to engage in consultancy services pertaining to research.
Enhance the infrastructural facilities like ICT, reading room, library, scanning facilities to research scholars of the college.
To explore opportunities for publishing an online research journal.
Identify possibilities for extension activities, some of which may be:
Health check programmes for college students to be held
Conduct women education programs within the vicinity.
Conduct English language enhancement programs for socially disadvantaged groups.
Collaborate with NGOs working for women empowerment and socially disadvantaged groups.
